^ Which one is up and which one is down? (I am assuming here that it might be possible to snap a Polaroid while in a 4g inverted dive.. OH! :eek:)
 
When J.P. Patton (former F-4 Blue Angel) was skipper of VF-161 it was not unheard of to see a tanker rendezvous attitude similar to 101.

You know that’s a question I’d like answered as well. I’m ashamed of myself for not knowing if they held any gas at all, because I loaded many of them on A-4’s.:o I’d always thought buddy stores just held the apparatus for transferring the fuel. However, the drop tanks on aircraft of my era usually held 2000 pounds each though. Not sure about the modern aircraft.
