In general, when asking a broad question ask "has this likely been asked before?" If the answer is yes, search for that answer. In fact, that answer is specifically in this thread, among others.
Second, while you don't realize it, you're coming off a bit like "I want to become a Navy jet pilot so I can become a commercial pilot." That generally doesn't come across well here, so poster beware.
If you had flown jets for the past ten years, and weren't an assclown your prospects would be pretty good right now.
