Loved the hats and music. Hated the dry years. Gas was cheap. Cool airplanes. Was a hassle to always have change for a pay phone. ?

I listen to and read old detective/crime stories from the era.

They actually were arguing that Paramount needs to pull the film from the theaters until everything gets sorted out. Paramount said no way.
