Attention to detail will take you far. Also, calling someone gay isn't really presenting yourself as officer material.

It's a different term for being lame. I thought it was appropriate. I didn't mean it in a derogatory manner against gay people. The shit he said was definitely fitting. If that's the case maybe I'm not, but if I heard him say that to someone, probably with a condescending tone as I imagined when I read it, I would have called him a lame ass, but probably a fag in person. Just saying. Sorry, no offense towards homosexuals, I didn't mean to offend you or anyone else by using that term.

Pilotwannabe. Rookie move there. If these guys are chewing someone out (and this hardly quals as a chewing) my god you better watch from a distance, and feel bad for them in silence. The way it goes is you join the website, ask your first and dumbest question (that's been answered already), get simultaneously answered and punished for it, then start searching from there on out. Just some thoughts from a fellow wannabe.

Thanks for the advice. Kinda mean though, and would probably turn people off to the overall community if that's how they were treated for asking a question. That's straight negative reinforcement, and I think it deteriorates someone's desire to want to be apart of this community, which is rather small to begin with. I wouldn't want to bust my ass to be apart of a small supposedly tight nit community that criticized and flamed me for asking a "stupid" question that I thought was indeed legitimate. It just highlights douchebaggery and turns people off. That's all I am saying. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone or cause a fight. Just "Typing up."
