Fin Point Oyster Bar & Grille at The Dagney - highly recommended. The chef there is a mutual acquaintance.

Had 4 orders of chowder there during my 50 hour stay…good stuff! I will say that the restaurant staff ALMOST denied me service due to the fact that I was wearing my Dunkin’ hat, Metallica t-shirt, college alma mater shorts, Harley-Davidson #1 socks, and Vans.

Did you finally make it out of BOS? How badly did the system at Widget break under the strain of the weather?

Yeppers…currently back at Ft. Wayne and in the rack. The system at Widget did what it could…BUT the mad dog bladder system almost DOR’d…that Dunkin’ BOJ pictured in post #113 was chugged upon arriving at KBOS from The Dagny…did my best to do multiple strategic head calls before boarding…still had to make two more head calls once on the Bus…and of course I had a window seat.

Is the Dagney a typical flight crew hotel? If so I now understand why my airline tickets are so expensive!

@Griz882 I think the level of accomodations is specified in the respective CBA for that airline and all the pilot group unions have hotel committees to select properties in each city.

I worked in the Boston Park Plaza Hotel in Boston while in college - that was a crew hotel for all the major airlines at the time. I was fascinated watching the crews arrive from all the big US and international carriers. It was a treat.
