Please, don't tempt me to stoop to that level - I have been oogling at a few of these watches for a while now and I am weak ...
Advice:Come on now, "that level".
When I was a youngster I would try to buy the most expensive Omega, Rolex that I could not afford. Still have a couple of them catching dust in a jewelry drawer.
Now that I could afford, the challenge is to buy the cheapest watch that will keep accurate time, that looks good. Record so far is $4.57 NEX. Once a year I put a battery in it and it keeps as accurate time as my Omega Seamaster did when it was new. The last really good watch was from Mike's Cigars as an incentitive to buy a box of Partagus cigars. Think I got a free torch lighter as well.
Get a Luminox Titanium.. Looks great, keeps precise time and has tritium markers. About $350. Then a $50.00 flat, gold plated dress watch, all you need.
