Which watch?

Very nice and easy to read watch; Bremont was smart to make a version with no ejection seat handle on the second hand and no U2 stuff on it as well.

If one of their ADs was anywhere near where I live I would try to see a few of their watches (the ALT1-C, P, and Z, respectively).

That is a really nice watch!

The custom Airwolf does not have the cut 6:

You would think that one would be able to find 25 P-3 pilots and FOs, whose wives haven't squandered all of their money, in the fleet who would be willing to buy something like this watch with a P-3C emblem and a plane on it (or the Plane and their respective wings)...

I seem to recall an enterprising Pre-DH O4 put together the MPRF reunion this year... I'm sure it would be pretty easy for him, or one of the golden boy JOs who work for him, to contact everyone who attended and try to put this thing together.

Paging Webmaster...

Aren't you on deployment? You can afford it...

Not currently deployed but getting ready to head out for a year to a mountainous tax free country so money will be no problem. I'll be number 2 on the list if anyone puts together a Breitling P-3 order.

Problem is, the watch would be hard down due to parts availability, red striped, or HONA....and really, who wants that?

I'm kidding. I'd be in for one.

So like the Omega watch buy... They've re-winged P-3s faster then the Swiss have made those watches.

Nice looking watch. What are the terms of the group buy you guys went with?

All I did was say "I'm in" and provide my credit card info, I'll have to check with the guy who put it together to get details. I heard though that the Bremont guys were enthusiastic about the project and we're all pretty happy with what they came up with. Definitely a departure from the standard group buy options. I've only seen a couple of Bremonts in person but I was pretty impressed with their quality and presentation.

The face of my cheapie analog watch finally cracked, after making it through two years plus OCS. It's not worth replacing, so I picked this up today for those thinking frugally. Yes, I realize this doesn't stack up to the Bremonts and Breitlings thrown around here, but if I'm dropping that kind of coin I want it to be personalized and have platform or better yet JO fleet squadron (this mythical "fleet" does exist, right?). Only $65 from the NEX. Analog, date, clean look, and aviation related as it looks similar to an altimeter, or so I think. Good enough for this Enswine.

Damn, now I really want a Bremont.

I wonder what a group buy on the ALT1-Z would cost. . .
