Thanks for your reply. As a matter of fact I submitted my first LDO package for the first time and last week was the selection board. Awaiting results. I think that the LDO option is more difficult because looking at last years selectees 90% of them were Chiefs.
However, as you can see I will continue applying to both programs until I get selected or no longer elegible.

SOY is not a requirement, I've seen people getting selected that had less credentials that me. Have faith, but don't put all your eggs in the same basket. What about the rest of your stats?

Bachelors in aviation maintenance management GPA 3.1, Masters in Aeronautics with specialty in Unmanned systems GPA 3.97, when active FCPO Pres, MWR Pres, UA coordinator, ACFL, and SAPR. My Treminal eval was 4.71 EP, 3.6 P, 3.3 P, QAR full systems P-3, EAWS, and Civ federal employee certs.
 
I put AMDO as my #1. I'm a Marine so hunting down AMDO's for LORs was not feasible. My background is as follows:

Top 3 SNCOs under OIC last 3 Fitness Reports
"A" School Avionics Instructor
AE Lead Instructor
Master Trainer Specialist/Mentor
All the instructor quals in Testing Officer Pipeline (GPE, TDE, FCR)
Avionics Work Center Supervisor
Avionics Division Chief (Temp for 6 months)
LORs from 2 O-5's and current enlisted supervisor and CO
Multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan and ship deployment in 2006 on the 24 MEU
Marksmanship Coach
BA: Music Production 3.88
MBA: Current Student w/ 1 year left 3.92

PFTs and CFTs - All 1st class
