SNA/SNFO Applicant
You’re going to get a ship date and sign an enlisted contract. The only benefit to doing this is that you’ll get some flight experience I’d you go an AW rate and if you do six years as an E, you’ll be an O1E when you commission, which is extra money in your pocket. How does it work if I wanted to enlist while I wait for SNFO board results and ocs ship dates? Email I got from my recruiter says results in November/December and expect OCS ship dates 6-9 months after. I was on the august board but I guess that’s now become the November one haha
There’s a different respect for formerly enlisted officers, it offers unique perspective and you’ll earn some education points on your advancement exams. Genuinely and honestly, if you’re trying to fly as an officer just stay your course it’s just a better quality of life. My two cents. Been enlisted for 8 now
