Does anyone know if this board is considered the last one of 2024 or the first of 2025? And does it matter in terms of the number of available spots for the year’s quotas? If it’s the last board of the year, most spots might already be filled, meaning fewer candidates are selected. But if it’s the first board of the new year, there could be more available spots, allowing them to take in more qualified candidates. Or it doesn’t matter at all?

We are currently in fiscal year 2025, which started in October. FYs run Oct - Sept, so come 1 Oct 2025, we will be in FY-26. FY-26 applicants are already being selected.

I wouldn't try to wrap your head around numbers and timing, just submit your package and hope for the best.

Do you guys know how long after selection you will report to OCS? Is there a specific timeline or is it based on availability?

Anybody know the odds of being able to discuss a later shipment date? Worried I’ll come straight from deployment into having to go to OCS if selected, with zero time to prepare or spend time with family

You risk losing your spot I'm in the same boat. I got selected for SWO waiting on these results.

If you are AD USN that is something to discuss with your command as they are the ones that will let NRC know when you can go.
