05MAY2025 SNA/SNFO Board

From my understanding, it's just how many slots are available per class and when you put your ship date as. If you put immediate select, you should be placed in the next available class after you get accepted.

Some people in the September 3 SWO board were going Oct. 6. They were also told they were accepted 10 days afterwards. So a honest guest, if you put immediate select, it's 1-2 months after you get accepted.

If I put earliest ocs date as August 1 does that mean I won’t be applying through immediate selection even with immediate selection scores?

When I say immediate select, I mean you put down on your ASPR that "immediate" as your desired ship out date. You can only apply to ISEL if you ask for ISEL, I think, but someone else with more knowledge can answer that more concretely.

Im not really sure how they are doing it, I didn’t specifically apply for ISEL but that’s what I got selected for based on the selection memo I got. Kinda strange. So basically anything can happen.

I just received a call from my recruiter stating that he is submitting my package right now but doesn’t know when the next board date will be. Has anybody had their recruiter be able to confirm that May is the next board

What exactly are you trying to ask? If board dates get changed? That sheet is meant to be internal just because 98% of applicants have no idea what it fully means or entails.

I see it says the June Board for Pilot is canceled unless your ISEL. I guess it’s impossible to tell what’s going to happen. I wonder if people graduating from the Naval Academy and ROTC are going to fill up pilot slots even more for fy26. Feels like it’s been since last September since there was an open board that took a lot of people that weren’t ISEL.

USNA and NROTC accession spots are intended to be shared equally with the OCS folks. If anything, the OCS folks are at an advantage because if someone from USNA or NROTC "drops", that adds additional spots for OCS - since they're the only ones who can cover the difference.
