I agree that’s probably what she was trying to do, but that’s a conversation you have in private with their leaders behind closed doors, not in an all hands email.
I agree, but I don't think she cared and went out on her shield. I'm not advocating that AD mil folks should be political (if you do, this is what happens), but goddam it would be nice if congress critters could show a backbone like her, and speak out a tad.I agree that’s probably what she was trying to do, but that’s a conversation you have in private with their leaders behind closed doors, not in an all hands email.
There are lots of rules and regulations. You can intentionally break any or all of them if want to, as long as you're willing to accept the consequences for it.And that one is actually confirmed not just via random tweet. Agree, stupid. I agree with her personally but that’s on the list of shit you can’t say publicly as a mil officer.
Or, maybe she was tired of being stationed in bumfuck Greenland, and wanted to cut the tour short. 🤷♀️I agree, but I don't think she cared and went out on her shield. I mean yes if you like stupid prizes. I for one try to avoid playing stupid games. There are lots of rules and regulations. You can intentionally break any or all of them if want to, as long as you're willing to accept the consequences for it.
You can do anything you want on your last flight, right?I mean yes if you like stupid prizes. I for one try to avoid playing stupid games.
I mean, if you've already decided that you can't reconcile your moral and ethical values with those of the CiC, going out with a bang is the best way to do it, no?I mean yes if you like stupid prizes. I for one try to avoid playing stupid games.

It's a technique...42D level chess move right there…
quick anecdote (sorry for threadjack). As a young O-3 at Miramar, we had a senior Captain EAS'ing and goes on his final flight with our brand new CO who grew up on the east coast, and didn't really understand Miramar airspace/course rules. Anyways, the finflight dude asks our CO if he can do a break over the helo spots (probably have to know Miramar to understand this)...CO says sure, I guess? Dude comes in at low altitude and max shitter speed (jet dudes don't laugh at me) and wraps it up over the hangars and about the whole base...they shut down, and immediately the ODO phone is blowing up from HHQ. CO is now bucksnorting around the squadron spaces about how he got fucked. EAS dude didn't give a shit. Don't recommend that TTP, but always thought it was funny. 😁You can do anything you want on your last flight, right?
We have seen this problem before…And that one is actually confirmed not just via random tweet. Agree, stupid. I agree with her personally but that’s on the list of shit you can’t say publicly as a mil officer.
But since whataboutism is your favorite game, are you saying you also agree that the space force LTCOL should have been relieved for going on a podcast and criticizing SECDEF Austin?
From a rational/practical perspective that dude chose to die on a hill just prior to the finish line. But, like you said, I guess he was passionate about his views and the accountability was appropriate. We have seen this problem before…

As with the one mentioned by @CommodoreMid the outcome in all three cases is the right one. The protest is fine, just be willing to accept what’s coming.
probably the dumbest career decision I've ever seen, but YOLO.^ that dude chose to die on that hill, just prior to the finish line because he was convinced of the financial gains to be grifted from certain media outlets and genres.
