My OR told me yesterday that once they are notified of the board commencing, they still have one week to submit packages.

Welcome Aaron, nice stats and thank you for your service. Looks like we have a good group of guys, hopefully we can all 'enjoy' OCS together.

Thank you; and my thoughts exactly Alex, both about OCS and the board. Hopefully some of these updates we have coming in hold up to be true; maybe I'll try getting a status check from my recruiter today.

Special thanks to Wdang1 for the format
;)

You're welcome and another special thanks to utswimmer37 for giving me the format to copy.

Everything I am reading is like seeing a Aston Marin in person for the first time. If our assumptions are true, we will get our results first week of March or end of February. The sooner the better, so I can celebrate by increasing my workout, and beer.

as of the 10th my package was still in limbo up in TN. so if this is true rest assured they haven't reviewed them yet, but still a step in the right direction

View attachment 13390 A helpful visual aid for us to see where we stack up. When you go on lunch, and all you think about is Naval Aviation this is what happens...
This is awesome!
I'm hoping that the idea that those with higher intellectual capacity are more likely to be found perusing forums such as these is the reason why so many of our listed scores are high. Hopefully we're all the ones that get selected and the ones that get ProRec-Ns are the people that don't browse this site!

My OR told me yesterday that once they are notified of the board commencing, they still have one week to submit packages.

In general they will take one week prior to the board to organize the applications so if the board is March 3rd they will take the week of Feb 24th to organize them, remember that Feb 17th is a federal holiday and it is rare for a board to happen the week of a federal holiday.

Thanks for the information, so in your opinion with them starting to organize on the 10th would you say they would start the board on the 18th since the 10th was a Tuesday? Or just wait until the 24th?

If they are still accepting application it would be doubtful they would have a board next week, probably the 24th would be earliest, then give them a week to get out results.

When DIVO talked to the PM he was told March, and the director gives direction to the PM's and the director often sits the boards as well, so take that for what you will.

That sounds about as definitive as it gets, looks like early March it is for results. Thanks again NavyOffRec!

Now this where I'm confused. Are they still taking applications for the next board? Or are they just preparing to review the ones that have already been submitted?

I have not submitted mine yet... waiting on waiver and MEPS. My OR still is confident we'll have plenty of time to meet the board so I am assuming they are still accepting apps.

From what I gather; 1 week from Feb 10 to submit apps and organize, 1 week from Feb 18 to organize, 1 week from Feb 24 to review and decide, and 1 week from March 3 to send out results.
