03MAR2025 SNA/SNFO Board

My recruiter messaged me yesterday saying my packet has been submitted and will be reviewed at the March board for SNA and SNFO. Hoping I get picked up this time! I have all my eggs in this basket hope to share the good news soon

Yesterday my recruiter let me know that my application was good to go. When I asked him if the next step is to just wait for the March 3 board he said that because I'm ISEL it should be "any week now". Does he just not exactly understand how the process works or can ISEL get picked up at anytime outside of the board?

I-SEL means you can get picked up any time before the board. He means "any week now" because he doesn't know when it will be there is no way to know. Its a waiting game now I would say at least a couple to a few weeks from the board date. Aside from that congrats !! Are you getting picked up for SNA or SNFO

Thanks! That helps a lot I didn't know that. I put in for SNA. it's been a dream for as long as I can remember, but I've been hesitant to accept any good news about the ISEL process until I get that official acceptance letter lol. It all just seems too good to be true!

My recruiter just informed me that I didn’t get selected for this board. I’m very confused as the board hasn’t convened yet? Trying to get more information but hopefully he’s got the wrong information.

Sorry to hear that man. You were BDCP? Anything that might have prevented your packet from going to the board? Hopefully he gets back to you with an explanation.

My packet went to board. I just wasn’t selected. Yes I was BDCP. I believe the board met earlier than expected. According to my recruiter and @FormerRecruitingGuru the dates on the board schedule are just placeholders.

Hmm will be curious to see what happens to my application then, seems like nobody knows what’s going on these days.
It is annoying constantly getting the run around with information these last couple months. Everyone’s recruiter has their own spin on the story. Now I need to decide what to do. Retake the ASTB or wait 6 months and re-apply.

The NC1 that works for my command pulled this up for me on BOL. The March board hasn’t even convened. The schedule seems to be true as there is the PROBOARD for SEP.
“AVIATION PROFESSIONAL REVIEW BOARD SEPTEMBER 2024”

I’d expect the March board to say “AVIATION PROFESSIONAL REVIEW BOARD MARCH 2025”. That should populate when results come out Mid to end of MAY.

I was wondering how early out from graduation could one apply for OCS? I seen a post that stated anywhere between 6-12 months out from expected graduation date you can submit a packet, however, that just seems like a pretty large margin. I plan on submitting for the upcoming May board, but I would like submit as a regular applicant since I am unsure if my ASTB (6/8/7) and GPA (3.6) will be competitive enough to be picked up as BDCP. My expected graduation date is December of this year, so if anybody knows a little more insight I would love to know. Thanks as always!
