Making Recruiting Great Again
Do you know the NAVADMIN number? Or link?
My buddy is busy right now and said he will find it. He told me about it today. When I get the information I’ll post it.

OCS board information isn't pushed via NAVADMIN. That is why there is a CNRC board schedule on the MyNavy HR website.

Only time anything would be released via a NAVADMIN is the establishment of a new program (like BDCP, AVO/Drone Pilot, MCWO, etc.).

Right.. I guess I should mean I want to see what the other dude was referring to. I already scanned this years NAVADMINs
Yeah I looked too idk what he is talking about bc I thought I was up to date with all the information. That’s why I said I didn’t read it myself.

My CO just told me I got selected for OCS. I was a regular applicant so the board indeed convened early.

Congrats! I just checked on the N3 share point and saw that they updated the board schedule about 9 hours ago and looks like they closed the march board. Curious what happened.
It is more likely they didn't convene early but pulled all applications available into the Jan board when the realized they were going to cancel March.

So if you were submitted it was just pulled in? Two boards cancelled in a row, doesn’t bode well.

Wasn’t the January board canceled? I’m not seeing it on the schedule. If my recruiter told my package was pushed on January 17th do you think it still would have gotten reviewed?

Based on who is getting picked up it looks like they flip flopped, cancelled the March and just held the board in Jan that was previously cancelled, this is rare but I do remember seeing this happen before. It could be there was just a conflict with the board members and their schedules or some other random reason.

If that’s the case and they held the board on January 13th, my package would have missed it by 4 days. That sucks.

I’ll post here with what my recruiter tells me. Best of luck to everyone!

My recruiter called to let me know that the board is indeed cancelled and my application is still pending review at the next available board. He said Immediate selection is still open.

Is anybody in here looking to submit an application soon for the May board?
My understanding is that since the board has been canceled our applications will all be pushed to the next available selection board ( May ). I’m trying to decide if I want to pull my application and retest to get immediate selection scores or wait for my application to be reviewed in May.
