Ah interesting, I'm in the same situation as you where I have immediate select numbers but am finishing up my degree in June, and was applying for the March board. My recruiter however says I can not do I-SEL as I need to be within 60 days of shipping. Do you know if your recruiter put you up for I-SEL? Or maybe they somehow just moved you from the regular board pile to I-SEL after canceling the board?
Yeah man that is what I am confused about. I need to call my recruiter tomorrow to confirm everything just because its kind of strange. I did not apply for ISEL to my knowledge as I was not offered it because I have not finished my degree. The date that is given on this memo is august 10 2025 which is obviously past 60 days to ship, however my acceptance letter indeed says pilot ISEL. Idk it just seems like they kinda just doin whatever at this point.

Yeah I got ISEL even giving a ship date of 4 months away. Sent my application in mid January and said I couldn’t leave til June 1, still got ISEL and now going to OCS in july. So I don’t think the 60 days part is true

It is possible the direction to the districts is that they need to be willing to ship within 60 days, however if there are no spots to ship within 60 days they will then put you where they can.

Makes sense. Wonder if in this case it's the board saying "we don't have any OCS spots for I-SEL until after they graduate, so we'll just throw them in there even though they technically don't have their degree yet and cant ship within 60 days", or if there was some sort of mistake and they happened to be processed for I-SEL. Hoping it was the first option because that would apply to me as well, and would spare some waiting and worry for me.

Are you in the 20JUL class with a report no later than 19JUL?

It could be any of those, mistakes do happen, it could be the letter had ISEL when it shouldn't, either way good for him.

Confirmed with my recruiter today I am indeed selected, he says people should be seeing stuff tomorrow? I guess their admin saw it early in their system and just sent me the ocs memo without telling anyone which is why I was confused. He did not really go into any detail on how or why I was selected early, or the status of boards, etc.

need some advice from y'all...ever since I got non-select for BDCP 2 weeks ago, I have been trying to contact my recruiter to schedule my second attempt of the ASTB with no response. Texts, emails, and calls but I get absolutely nothing back. Do I keep trying or just go to the other officer recruiter in town? I sent my current one a text earlier this week saying if I don't get a reply back in the next few days I will start working with another recruiter.

Sounds like you’ve already made that decision..
