So let's say you get selected and they tell you you've got a couple weeks before you get sent off to OCS. Is it possible to request a later date even if you didn't specify it on your application?

Last board people got 2 weeks from being notified of selection. Which is way sooner than the standard 3-5 months out
Yes, but remember there were also people that were selected several boards prior that still haven't left. It is easier to put a person without an OCS date into a class than it is to move a person that already has an OCS date, hence filling holes with those just selected.

If the Board isn't convening until December now, when should we be expected to hear back. Didn't the last board hear back like 3 weeks after they convened?
This board is convening about the time hard goals come out for FY24, if the hard goals are out when the board meets it could be somewhat "quick", but if they are not they have to decide to go with what they know and hope for the best. That has not worked out well in the past.

I remember some people posting on the last board that they tried requesting a later date and were unsuccessful.

Has anyone else experienced a delay in response from the Navy Recruiting Command or Paul Celestin after submitting their OCS application through email? I sent mine on October 10th and haven't heard back. I'm worried my application may be moved to the next board since my age waiver is required and the deadline is November 3rd.

I’m getting nervous, as well - waiting on documentation for my vision to be approved. Getting close to 3 Nov.

I've sent in my package for him to look over as well but he hasn't responded either. Been a week now.

Hello, looks like I'll be submitting to this board, glad to be here. Best of luck to everyone and hopefully we'll be seeing each other (relatively) soon. If anyone is in the greater NYC area, hmu and lets get some PT grind sessions going ;).
im out in long island if the offer is still out there

Is there a chance we get to take a final look at our application before it’s sent up to the board?

I’m 90% sure my recruiter is including both SNA and SNFO on my application. I just want SNA

Just say you want 1390 for your selection. If you know the processor also who submits it you can email them to verify your packet is in

I would send an email saying, "I just wanted to confirm I am only being submitted for SNA only as I am not interested in SNFO" then hopefully he replies confirming what you want.
