I posted this in the July thread, but I'll repost it here:

Anyone have any good workout programs for OCS? I am starting to get intentional about my training instead of doing the basic PPL.

Pardon my ignorance since I am not on this board, but being that you guys will likely get your results sometime around New Years, it is likely some of you will be going to OCS with us over at the Jan15 class. Pretty dead right now so Im hoping we get a few of you guys. Best of luck, and feel free to message me when the time comes if you're lucky enough to get in our class!

Obviously there’s really no way to tell, but I was wondering if anyone has any idea or past board evidence to infer whether we’d get notification from this board before or after everyone leaves for Christmas/New Years. I know the last one was ~3 weeks (which would land right around Christmas and is seemingly unlikely) but then if you go to ~6 working weeks which was previous board it would fall super close to the Jan 14 OCS date. BOL to everyone who’s submitted to the board, hoping for lots of ProRec Ys

The way NRC works and with the slowdown the last few weeks of the year it is unlikely anyone from this upcoming board would be in the 1/15 class, unless the board was to get done in a week, and by previous boards that isn't likely.

I put this together over the course of a year. It should help you out. Was able to get a few buddies in the sub nine for the 1.5 mile run. I managed to clock a 8.42. Hope it helps and message me know if you have any questions.

Thanks a lot, this is perfect. Great time btw!

Edit: the 8 min ab video link isn't working. Do you have another link by any chance?

Guess I'm switching from SNA to SNFO application. Vision documentation declined for the second time, despite my arc speed meeting the requirements I've read online. Recruiter can't tell me why. Confused and upset but turning 31 in January so I really don't feel like pushing the issue until March board, only to possibly be denied again. Although I think I would enjoy the FO position, feel like I'm being robbed at the same time. Really torn about this. I am aware there is some kind of program to transition from SNFO to SNA - my friend is a naval flight instructor and said this can occur as soon as you graduate from OCS. Assuming I can pass NAMI physical in OCS. Does anybody have any insight on this?

I believe on mynavyhr there is a portion on there about the NFO to NA transition and it is extremely competitive from what I’ve seen. There’s a few lurking on here, hopefully they see your post.

About your vision, depth perception is tricky. Usually N3M will ask for more documentation. I had a “laundry list” of things that got waived and I got everything in order submitted to N3M had a PQ for aviation in hand 2 weeks later. Just got selected for SNA
