I for sure love VB. My dad was stationed here in Norfolk Naval Base with the Truman but just moved to Washington State but I agree that the bases here are underrated. Also, we can't forget about the bars here! #chicksoysters .

I went to A school in Dam Neck, and we had a private beach where we would slam beers by the dozen and go swimming! The bars and restaurants in VB are a blast, and I miss that place more whenever I think about it. Btw, it's CHIX 🤣

It depends. Seems like most people needed a wavier. Even a guy who was prequalified by NAMI got told he needed a wavier all of a sudden

I had to get a waiver. It was fairly straight forward, just kind of time consuming, and the uncertainty of whether it was going to get approved or not wasn't great. Luckily I had all the relevant documentation prepared as I did my flight physical after my FAA waiver was approved, so I just included the required docs and didn't have to do anything extra.
