Pretty close, how my throttle and E/I knobs were calibrated, counterclockwise rotation brought each respective gauge to 0.

Knob locations and how throttle is set up is correct, just pay attention to the initial calibration portions to cross-check which ways you spin the dials for 100% or 0%, jot these down on paper your given along with any other instructions/procedures your unclear about.

Clutch is in the center of the I-knob, as pictured.

Make sure to have a piece of paper for PBM. I personally wrote down Odd Left Clutch, Right Even Trigger in case I brain farted. My pieces of blank scratch paper was all piled under my used papers from the Math/MCT and almost all got thrown away before starting PBM. Silly thing that could be overlooked but might as well spit it all out there incase anyone has a similar experience.
Thanks bro. First time taking it few weeks back got a 45 4/2/4. I completely botched the listening portion, didn’t practice jatzen, and got red on all the EPs. So i now purchased the x52 been practicing everynight and not gonna fuck up the listening and EPs again

You'll be fine! Sounds like the normal 1st time go around with tests. I took the MCAT (Medical Collage Admissions Test) ~ 8 hrs long, twice studying for around a year for each one. You learn a lot after the first go at it, especially keeping the nerves and jitters in check.

Practice what you know your weak at and you'll kick ass. Hit me up if you need any other tips/help Goodluck King

edit: ANIT prep/flash cards will be your best friend to shoot up the scores and probably the easiest to prep for compared to the rest. And once you get down all the PBM stuff with practice, you'll easily have a 7 your next go at it.

Just took the OAR today for the first time. Definitely had a negative experience as I was kicked out many times. Managed to pull a qualifying score for AMDO but was hoping for higher. I plan on retaking it after the next board in March if I don’t get in. Anyone know if my OAR will play a huge factor? The weakest part of my package is my OAR. Besides that my last 3 evals are high EPs, recent one being a number 1 EP, and I have a solid GPA. Wishing for the best. Good luck to everyone else!

For me and in order (please make sure to confirm with calibrations/stick/throttle used for you)

1. Fire (CCW to 0% E-Knob, CCW to 0% I-Knob, Clutch)
2. Engine (CW to 100% E-Knob, CW to 100% I-Knob, Clutch)
3. Prop (50% E-Knob, 100% I-Knob, Clutch)

I preset Fire inputs before the test started, pressed clutch as soon as "warning" was said on headset. From there I adjusted for Engine, and from there to Prop. Verbal cues are used and you have some time between to adjust as your flying.

You also have 2 gauges at the bottom right of your screen for High, Medium, Low. For Prop 50% on E-Knob, if your unsure, just look to hover medium.
I posted a comment a bit further up, to check on your specific test which way to turn knobs. For me, CCW turned it to 100% and screwed my PFAR. Just a word of warning to anyone trying to figure it out beforehand.

Do you have all of the major quals? (QA/CDI/SFF?/LPO) assuming you do cause ur #1 EP. You should be good big dawg, you have a solid ass GPA. Looks like amazing evals. Just get some solid appraisals from AMDOs.

Pro tip: if you think you might forget something during the PBM section, WRITE IT DOWN. Even if you have a pretty solid memory and know your way around the test, still WRITE IT DOWN.

I think the part that confused me when I took it, is that I'm pretty sure whatever the calibration was set to during the calibration mode was different than what I had to be done on the actual PBM part. But then again it was a while since I took the test. But I guess the question is whether your calibration is set to what you use exactly for the EPs correct?
