Haven't checked the forum since Monday. Just read all the messages since. How are y'all creating like 5 pages/day of messages?!

Your clearance gets started either before or during OCS but certainly not after. There was a candio who had issues with his clearance after making it through the entire program and they posted him at King hall to run all the DORs and the entire student pool for 2 years. He finally made it to flight school.....point being you have your clearance when you leave or at least that is how it used to be.

If your spouse, or family, or friends, don't support your goals...it can't matter to you. Because it doesn't matter to the military.

So maybe this kind of whammy is a real threat for accepted SNA/SNFO's.

His case was a special one...with relatives in other countries that our country may not agree with hence the extended time it took for security.

Didn't hear about anybody else getting hung up on security clearance but plenty of SWO’s sit around student pool waiting for orders after they commission!

I could be one of these cases. Relatives who currently reside in a country that currently could be considered somewhere in the middle between friend and foe.
