It’s eerily quiet on this page. Maybe I feel like that cause I’m 7 hours ahead of y’all but I wait allllll day long for someone to post? lol. It’s so lonely! We have like a day until board day! I can’t believe we made it this far! I didn’t think it was possible. To think in a couple of weeks we could be finding out our fate!

I'm curious to learn more about the sna/snfo board and how it operates. If this is covered somewhere on AW I'd really appreciate a link so I can educate myself. Are those who are reviewing our applications and deciding yes/no currently aviators who get pulled in for these duties a few times a year? Are they former aviators who now work under NRC? Just NRC without any aviator history? And where does it take place geographically? I'm imagining a group of people in a special room with stacks of papers and this room being the same room it has always happened for the last 100 years.

Ah so he gets it haha. After 9 years in, I’ve finally accepted that things happen when they happen. Predicting timing in the military is an exercise in futility, and once you’ve done what you can, stressing about it is counterproductive and the rumor mill is always firing, with dubious accuracy and pretty much never helpful. Fun though ?

Yeah I'll be really surprised if we hear anything before Thanksgiving considering the volume on this board
