Saw a fighter jet over Pensacola today! It's an Air Force F-22 Raptor from Eglin, but who cares - I'm taking it as a good sign for SNA applicants. Good luck to everyone tomorrow. I believe in all of you. Let's freaking do this!

Just read the old FY22 board schedule. This pilot/nfo board is to pick for FY22/23 quotas not just filling empty spots for FY22. Just some positive vibes for everyone.

Page 11 of the previous board results listed flight hours. How big does that impact it all?

every person I put in that had flight hours had high ASTB scores so not really any impact, unfortunately I saw more with significant flight hours not make it through the program than I did those with no flight hours, the ones that came home after being dropped said what the issue that had with was adjusting to how the USN did certain things.

I could and see a person with flight experience and a lower ASTB getting picked over a person with the same score with no flight experience, at least you are then picking someone who knows what it is like to pilot an aircraft, it is a better bet.

The thing is to wow them with scores.

Anyone know how it works if you don't get selected or pro recd? Can you just submit your package again at the next board or do you have to redo or change things in it first?

I remember one of the times I was on shore duty and they started replacing out PC's, the computers had been sitting for nearly a year in our storage before being changed out.

That is still a problem, I am in D.C. and we have new computers in a storage closet right now. lol

Yes, you can submit your package again. It would be wise to take the ASTB again to get better scores unless you already have 8s and 9s

Okay thanks, I remember reading somewhere that you needed to add either interviews or redo the astb but wasn't sure if that was an actual requirement or just smart to do.

It's a really smart thing to do. I got a Pro Rec N with the last board, so I took the ASTB again and polished my motivational statement just in case. Interviews don't matter at all. Have you talked to an OR?
