I just got a call from my recruiter today. He said that he was told we can expect results end of this month to early next month. He did also confirm that OCS dates are pushed out to mid to late 22'..to second Mr.Hfuruta ^^
Like the early end of the month or the late end of the month. That’s a difference maker ????

I just have a question regarding the difference between FY22 and FY23 quotas. What does it mean to be picked for FY22 as opposed to being picked for FY23? Will people picked for FY23 not have OCS dates prior to FY23, meaning that they will go to OCS after October 2022?

I want to see what our consensus is on this theory:

I say if the board releases results early, less than 2-3 weeks, it means low Pro-Rec-Y count (vice versa).

The longer we have to wait the better. I know that if the board comes out early I will definitely not be clicking on that link for at least a few minutes, maybe hours, lol.

If low numbers of pro Y the board will take longer as the cuts are going to be more difficult, but that means NRC assigning dates will be faster due to being less.

When there are higher numbers the board is quicker because the decisions on cutting are easier but NRC has more people to get dates assigned to.

In either way the time should be the same.

My recruiter just told me to expect Board results in early December. She said it will take longer than the Aug Board (about 2 weeks) bc things slow down during the holidays. Might be conjecture, but probably won’t hear anything until after Thanksgiving. By that point we’ll have 200 pages on this thread lol

@exNavyOffRec once they decide who is given a pro-rec y is there a methodology to how the select class dates or is it just random and luck of the draw as to whether people in this board will be FY22 vs FY23 candidates? thanks

That is accurate, things do slow down around the holidays.

The only thing that would make sense is to try and get AD to OCS first, we are already paying them and it makes no sense having them stick at their current command screwing with manning.
