Unfortunately as of now yes, next one will be in May for FY23 OCS dates.

Geez. Okay, so bottom line I just want to serve as an officer. I’d love to fly, but I’ll take what I can get. My scores are 57 7/7/8–is there a benefit to requesting 1SNFO/2SNA, or should I just put SNA first?

If you want to be a SNA only put SNA, otherwise high chance of getting SNFO

LOL. Doubt it brotha. He's been out of the Navy since 2002. I asked him about the board and he said "Never expect a quick answer from Millington." I know we're all in agreement with that statement lol
I know im not the only one who feels this way but it pisses me off that all of us worked so hard to score well and took a lot of time out of our lives to apply for ocs just to be, well, thrown under the bus. I know its the military and shit like this happens a lot but we gotta keep our heads up and hopefully Christmas comes early with a lot of pro Ys for us

Do we have confirmation of us being thrown under the bus? I thought the only official change is that jan/feb board doesn't exist and next one is in May. Otherwise number of SNA's being selected from Nov1 is still "normal" right?

Question, So I emailed my recruiter asking him if I could change my choices from 1SNA2NFO to just 1SNA. He stated that they "have" to send at least 2 choices, but that he would make some calls and see what he could do. What can I do at this point?

send him an email saying that you only want to apply for SNA and that you are not consenting for your application to be submitted for SNFO, see what that does.
If he says that won't work tell him you are talking to people who are only submitting for SNA and then see what he says.

I told him that I saw somewhere online that the chances of getting selected for SNA are higher with SNA on the package by itself. What if they hit me with the "This is what we can do, theres no other way to do it"

You can tell him that’s bs cause many of us have only put one choice. Unless you’ve already submitted for the board you can change it.

You tell him to shove it and have your package transferred to another recruiter that will do it. Only reason he might say that is if your scores are a little lower for SNA than average but even at that he should be realistic and tell you straight forward.
