As for acceptance rate/quotas, I'm not exactly sure but the outgoing OCM did mention to me that it was less than last year (11), so I'd imagine 9 or 10. The current OCM also told me he expects a less than 10% selection rate based on the number of quotas vs. applicants. So I'd imagine there's around 110+ applicants this cycle.

Regarding time for results, in 2016 they found out 3 days after the board. In 2017 they found out 9 days after the board. Keeping in mind the higher number of applicants this year I'd guess results will be out anywhere from next Monday (5 days) to Friday, March 9th (16 days). It'll feel like a long wait, but compare that to how long LDO/CWO applicants wait after they submit their packages (5+ months) and it isn't too bad.

Not speaking of specifics, but word on the street is the board was finished Thursday (22nd) evening.... Ahhh...The suspense!

I heard the AMDO website will post it early too. One of my AMDO's said he found out on the AMDO page before he heard word from anyone else.

I'd imagine you'd find out through BOL or an OR before the website. The OCM updates the website himself and it would seem reasonable that he'd allow people a chance to hear on their own before posting the names of all selected.

However, I can't speak for the OCM, so I could very well be wrong. Just an opinion. Either way, I hope the results are posted soon.

If you don’t get selected, do you receive a letter. I was just talking to someone who said they did, however, I never received one for the last board and I was curious.
