I think the cheap never wear pair is a great idea for the RLP inspection. No need to waste $70 on a pair of new shoes. Ill donate the ones I don't wear to a homeless woman.

If you can memorize the first word in the General Orders and know what the rest of it is, I have here for you a mnemonic device to get the order.
1. Take The
2. Walk Wallaby
3. Report Ran
4. Repeat Really
5. Quit Quickly
6. Receive Round
7. Talk The
8. Give Golf
9. Call Course
10. Salute Sonofa
11. Be You can guess this one
Its funny and stupid I know but helped me memorize the order very quickly.

From what I know, there is a facebook group for having dinner together the day before and I assume that's the facebook group for the October OCS.
I emailed my recruiter asking the same question, I will let you know what he says.

I have the Navy rank structure mostly memorized. Marine Corps is evading me. Too many different types of NCO's on the E side. That and the service songs. I've got a lot of cramming to do.
