Actually, my biggest career goal would be to get through all the training and assigned to the fleet while the US is still at peace and not at war. Would suck to be missing all the action stuck in TX or FL

We are always in some kind of conflict, just depends on if you get to participate or not

I also would like to fly as long as I can. So after the Navy, if I’m still flying - that’d be nice

I just want to fly. So if that takes me to test pilot, commercial, whatever…it’s all fine with me. That’s long term. Short term, I just want to get past the board.
