Got a text from my recruiter saying
“So any non-selects will be rolled over into the next board. Still waiting for results”

So basically, no new info lol
that is kinda confusing (or I'm just a dumbass).
Does he mean if you weren't on the At board list you are getting rolled or if you had a Pro-Rec-N?
cause I thought a Pro-Rec-N meant "try again in 6 months"

Don’t believe everything recruiters say. I went through the process twice before getting selected and was told all sorts of different things about quotas from two different recruiters. The board picks what the board picks. Kinda seems like spreading fear and doubt to me
No, the board is given a set number of spots, if they deviate from that it reduces the numbers or cancels future boards. There have been a few times they over selected and in one case ended up causing boards for 1 designator to be cancelled for the next year plus a few months.

The dashboard is what NRC goes off of to track all numbers for OCS and ODS, the dashboard has nothing to do with averages of those selected that is a different document, and averages are just averages, yes you will see people with 9's fail out and people with 5's make it, but overall the higher score the better chance of success.
So what you’re saying is that 40 is an official number that they can deviate from? Which would mean that it can change if the board decides to over select or under select? Which brings me back to it not being a set number per se and just seems to cause people excess stress when they’ve already been waiting a month to know if they’re going to become aviators or not.

Hey all, been a lurker for the past two weeks. Just realized going through this thread that there is a "at board list" that is showing names of people who submitted packages. If I submitted a package and didn't see my name on that list, would that mean something was wrong with my package and it didn't get seen at the board?

Or you didn't submit it early enough. I dunno - call your recruiter and ask
