That’s what I’m thinking maybe there was 42 who got selected for this fiscal year and the majority or the remaining are in FY22.
I don't think so. If you notice the bottom block it specifies that selectees will be FY22 selects. There is no note for the aviation note regarding whether some were designated as FY22. I think it's referring to quota's, not assigned OCS dates. Even when people are leaving in FY22 that doesn't make them FY22 selects.

Maybe a reason for a supposed lower selection is because they want people to go in FY21 not FY22. Maybe with classes back at 100% they are filling empty FY21 seats. They probably don't have the FY22 quota's yet so you can't make selections based on quota's you don't have...? Based on the document, none of the selects are slotted as FY22 selections for aviation @ccsims98

Yeah that's new info that wasn't on the last Dashboard, and maybe what they were relying on for selecting a certain number. Not sure why they capped it so hard like that. I'm still not sure why it seems like it's only 7 NFO. That number still doesn't make sense. 7 out of a goal of 52? Weird.
Wheres the 7?

Also another thing to note is that this updated GENOFF appears to show that there are 2 remaining boards for the FY21, confirming the May and August ones.

Page 109 has the previous GENOFF PDF if anyone is looking for them.
On the bright side, it looks like the board did actually meet haha

I think the fiscal year that you’re in is when you’re supposed to commission not when you go to OCS

Do boards normally reflect their selection numbers in the Genoff over several weeks? Or could this pretty much be it? Nov board members?

Right. That's why May is the last board you see the current FY year selection and the first board you see selections for the next FY. This May board will select for FY21 and FY22. That's why I think this board in particular is FY21 only, and is probably doing everything in it's power to not overload the OCS pipeline and not cut into FY22 OCS slots that need to be actually filled by FY22 selections for the next board.

Based on the current Dashboard, the next May board is going to be a great board for NFO because those selects are for FY21.

Also, my original OCS date was September 2021, which would make me a FY22 graduate. But I'm still an FY21 selectee based on FY21 quota's. I wasn't selected with the intention of filling FY22 OCS slots.

Does anyone know if there’s ever been such a low selection quota in recent history? May be a question for the recruiters.
Based on data (Excel sheets) that goes back to December 2019, if these numbers are true, they haven't been like this in the last 5 boards.
But if you don’t get selected for this board, don’t you have to wait 6 months?
Schedule the ASTB and get another score under your belt, that would remove the 6-month restriction and allow you to reapply to the next board.

Yeah part of me thinks they just don't have all the data from the aviation board, or they uploaded the first day's info and didn't get the second day. That's what I hope is going on anyway. I find it hard to believe they would under select that severely based on the board select goals (at least for NFO).

I’d agree. 7 NFOs when they’re as desperate as they say.
