25JAN21 PILOT/NFO BOARD

There’s no way they’d have 3 remaining boards of about 150-200 applicants and only choose 33 for each. Wouldn’t that be a waste of their time? I feel like we might be missing a piece of the puzzle somewhere.

- It’s possible they’d do such a thing, but one would think they’d be more strict on the applications they take if so. I think (and am hoping) the FY22 theory is correct in that the numbers aren’t reflecting and only FY21 select numbers are. I’m being optimistic over here and am hoping for good news for everyone ??

Why not? Feel like they want the best of the best, and that’s what they are getting picking 33.

i mean if you think that's bad look at intel. according to the dashboard they only have 6 slots, and apparently 177 packages at the board...

True, and could be, but wouldn’t they be more strict on what applications they allow to be submitted since you can only submit x amount of times? And I know historical facts aren’t an indication of the future, but wouldn’t they have decreased the amount of applicants at the last board? Or at least cancelled one of the upcoming boards and increased the standards of what is to be submitted?

Didn’t the ASTB minimums go up recently?
