Well thanks buddy!Plenty of trades out there that do not require degrees and reel in more money. Then again, one way of analyzing it is that pay isn't determined by the market forces the way it works out for plumbers or welders. Totally understand (thanks to you) why you don't get as valued due to educational requirements and not being under DHS.
My gripe is more that given the nature of the work (odd hours, phycological strain) and its importance to society you guys should get better compensation out of principle. Imperfect world though - my hat goes off to you guys.
I was hurting pretty bad two weeks ago after some speed training on the track. Took a full week to feel okay after it ?
In other news, no movement on the boards, except Intel and IP or IW. Can’t remember which one it was.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I doubt it. Probably be singing that same song until February 15th time frame if I had to guess.
if you don't get picked up you would need to resubmit to a subsequent board, it is not automatic. additionally there is normally a 6 month waiting period between applying to boards of the same designator unless your application is considered to have undergone a substantive change (e.g. GPA, OAR retake, more LORs, etc).New to the comments, but have been checking in on this forum from time to time. Appreciate all the knowledge here. I'm waiting for word on the board results, and not feeling confident I'll get picked up given: age, scores, sad gpa, and lack of flying experience.
If a package isn't accepted at this board, is it rolled to the May '21 boards, or does it need to be resubmitted? My recruiter has been pretty quiet.

if your package isn't accepted, like it is not evaluated by the board like a lot of ours did, it can be submitted to the next board rightaway, according to what my recruiter said it, it seems to be automaticGood to know thank you. I can't retake the ASTB anymore, and going back to school isn't in the cards right now. Just living on a prayer for now.
Are you DEP'd in currently? The good news is you have an 8 PFAR which is pretty good, and most of the other stuff doesn't really matter as much as you probably think it does.New to the comments, but have been checking in on this forum from time to time.
