My friend in NV got SNA!

I’m stilling waiting for my recruiter to return my call/ text.

My recruiters response time in the past has always been 3-4 business days -_- If I get a response at all.

Can someone explain unofficial vs official results and if there has ever been a case where someone was unofficially picked up and then turned down during “official” release?

Background check for security clearance may have not been fully completed by examiners yet. Ive heard that this is the main reason why it would change.

No one is unofficially selected and then not selected on official release to my knowledge. This is new territory. This wish-washy release of info coming from the OR's. I think you may be referring to receiving official selection then not receiving FINSEL paperwork? That would be more to do with DUI's etc that are tied to a security investigation.

The only situation I've come across where someone was told they were selected and then told they were not selected was due to an error in reading the results list on the OR's part.

I was informed by my OR that my background investigation would be the only thing pending even though I am selected. It sounded like that would be the only reason I could be dropped from the official results.

I think that means don't do anything stupid now that you're selected because you could jeopardize continuing the process if you do something dumb.

Ya. There seems to be a strange mix of what some ORs have versus others. I contacted mine about not being at the board about a week ago. She had not heard anything. She told me she'd let me know the second she has news. Zero contact about the at-board list or results since then.
