25JAN21 PILOT/NFO BOARD

I tried to contact officer recruiter and they said they can’t help me because I am already enlisted and after that i tried to talk with command people and they said they can’t help because we don’t have career counselor in my command.

No I haven’t took astbe yet. But my other stuff is ready like recommendations, statements and degree in organizational leadership with 4.0 gpa from Purdue university.

When do I need to put my package in for may board?
You need to have an OR do your package. Find a different recruiter lol.

Probably sometime early April. You'll need to take your ASTB before then.
I'm coming from the civilian side, so I'm not 100% sure if enlisted also need N3M medical approval.

There's some conflicting (and confusing) info about the deadline for this board. In theory, if you can find an OR, take your ASTB, do well enough on the ASTB, get the N3M letter for SNA/NFO, you could submit in time for the Jan board. Unlikely though.

Same! Now plays the waiting game!

Yup we will truly see if all this talk is right or not! For all of our sakes, I am staying positive. Until we hear something official, assume they are doing a normal selection. Otherwise we are going to drive ourselves crazy.

@exNavyOffRec had a quick question....you mentioned before that of course, PFAR and FOFAR were the biggest factors as far as get selected for pilot and nfo respectively....what is the role of the AQR in the whole mix, since it is part of the ASTB? I saw in Navy Medicine that it weighs in on both designators.....is this accurate?

While I may be wrong I did read somewhere that the AQR is indicative of academic performance in API and Primary ground school (I think all of this got merged into something called NIFE) so it will be an important factor in selection for both SNA and SNFO in conjunction with the PFAR and FOFAR scores respectively. I'd wait for an answer from someone more qualified but thats my understanding of the AQR's role.
