so it wouldn’t effect selection, just ocs dates being scheduled for fy 21. Meaning everyone selected is now FY22? i think that’s what he was asking

no clear answer but it could affect both depending on what they decide to do for the next board, what we don't know is how many of FY 22 selections they have made, at some point they need to pump the brakes.

so what would happen for those applying both sna/nfo would they have to wait a full six months if picked up nfo and declined to wait?

When do you think NFOs are shipping out? I applied for both (my recruiter put NFO first) and assume that’s what I’ll be slotted in.
browse a few of the previous board threads, I don't remember if it was just SNA's or SNFO's that were getting FY 22 dates.

This Thread is the WebMD of AW. One day you find out you are going to be an SNA/SNFO... the next you have hours to live and 42% chance the boards will be cancelled. The Horror...The Horror - Apocalypse Now.

All I know is there is 26 days until the boards and I can't stay away from Air WarriorsMD. My co-worker got selected on the last boards and I hear about the sunshine/rainbows of selection daily. Lawd help me!

Update* Buddy got a call this week. He was originally slotted for SNA in Sept/OCT. He talked to our OR who said he is in April now. Said they are/have cancelled the next board. So we are the last board for the FY. Meaning remaining numbers will be dished out for us? We also know lots of ORs pushed peoples apps off in big recruiting areas. Which coincides with the doc provided earlier in the thread. Good news for us.

Not saying anything is solid. But if you look at it from a staffing/business perspective, it makes more sense. Manpower still has the same attrition rate. So to maintain sustainability less boards equals more selection.

Whether RUMINT or not. I have seen businesses make assumptions on less. Government is usually a little more predictable.
