Anyone else getting calls for OCS class dates? I was told last week that I probably wouldn’t ship until the end of the year.

I was told FY 21 as well man, the recruiters honestly don’t even know until they get word like our boy “flyguy’s” just did

Bro are you prepared? Did your recruiter give you your OCS study kit? It has bravo knowledge and what event you’ll be doing on a weekly basis so you can mentally prepare

I'm okay prepared I would say. Because of quarantine I got kinda out of shape but still decent. He sent me the odep guide and appendix b

My recruiter got transferred elsewhere and gave me the contact info for the new guy. Called the new guy and said I was behind like 20 other people who were delayed before me waiting for dates. He was highly doubtful that I would ship in the near future. Like an idiot, I extended my lease for another 6 months last week. Then got a call today saying I leave in 4 weeks. I’m both extremely excited and extremely sad lol

you know you can break your lease with no penalty with active duty orders right?

Breaking Apartment/House Lease due to OCS

I understand that under SCRA, civilians entering active duty prior to signing their lease are able to break their lease without any consequences with a 30 days notice before the next rent date. Do you know how early SCRA allows the lease can be broken? Let's say we receive our FS in March...
