Any A-Pool bikers out there looking for people to ride with? Myself and two other pilots are running out of places to ride locally, granted we don't know the surrounding area well, but if anybody out there is looking for people to ride with and knows of some good roads outside of this town shoot me a PM or post a reply.

Have you taken HWY 98 out into LA towards the East coast of Mobile bay and along that coastline? That can be a really nice ride.

If this route sounds nice to you, let me know. I live up in Milton and would love to ride with some other people. I've taken the route N past Whiting up to Brewton (alone ... :( ) and that was a nice ride. What do you guys ride? Im on a VTX 1300C. s/f

Well, I won't be riding in NW Florida anytime soon, but I've got a '00 V-Star 1100.

Dont you have the Pacific Coast Highway near by? Thats the ride I cant wait to take ... I would love to take that thing all the way up from SoCal to WA ... weather permitting. Ride safe, keep the rubber side down. :D

I did PCH from LA to San Fran last year, but did it in my Jeep as it was the rainy season. Took three days and I stopped in the various winemaking regions along the way. I also did PCH from SF to Astoria a few years back. Either way you go, it's one amazing ride. I didn't do a whole lot of riding in Whidbey due to an old inop bike, but I'm looking forward to some good mountain riding this summer.

I hate Alaska. The roads are all torn apart and warped from studded tires. And it rains all summer. Stupid state. We should sell it back to the Canadians.

Me .... envious .... :D Especially of that mt riding. Nothing like the Cascades in the summer for travel (and the winter for skiing). Enjoy a little for me too. The OR coast between Newport, Tillamook up to Astoria ... just about my favorite places on earth.

Well, if you don't mind a SNFO getting us lost, I'm up for a ride most any weekend. I've driven along Gulf Beach Hwy all the way to the ferry and up through Mobile in a car, it looks like it would be a beautiful ride. Come find me any Monday or Wednesday and we'll set something up. You can't miss me, I stand up in front of you each of those days. Yep, that's me......
