I spoken to a few officers and they said the navy will only move my family when I am assigned to a duty station, not the basic qualification since it’s only six months. I don’t know if that would be different for active members.
That’s what I’ve come to understand... It’s almost funny just how much conflicting information is out there. My time alive and, more specifically in the military, has thaught me that the only real sure way to know something is to experience it..... or read the most recent instruction.

Well it makes sense for non priors like me. I mean, graduating ocs is not guarantee. Also, most newly ensigns will be on oharp after graduation. I think had there not been oharp, and we go straight into training, moving the family to Newport would make sense.

You are correct, my change will be applying for SWO and SUPPO, instead of just only applying for SUPPO. I also have updated evals, additional interviews, and awards.

Significant is generally considered additional degree or change in OAR, the 6 month wait would be for the same designator so they could just cut out Supply when you submit again.

also, awards don't mean anything for OCS, and yes for enlisted evals are important, but they are a periodic thing, so it isn't a significant change type item.

Significant change would be a paygrade advancement, improving your GPA, getting a masters degree, improving your OAR score by 5+ points, etc.
