Here is the PA http://www.cnrc.navy.mil/Program-Authorizations.htm it states max age 31, they do mention 35 given exceptional qualifications, however just like SEALS/EOD that caviate has not been used and exceptional circumstances per NRC when it comes to PA means you have been doing something in field or corresponding civilian qualifications.

The problem is MEPS doesn't issue a PQ letter N3M does, MEPS cannot "clear" officer candidates, and from the date of the physical MEPS is allowed 5 working days to release the physical, this is because of bloodwork test, then it goes to N3M and they can take up to several working days as well, so from the day you take the MEPS physical you only 3 working days until the application deadline.
Yeah I dont know how its going to work for the people that are going to MEPS this late. I just got a NPQ letter from N3M dated Oct 28th. I went to MEPS on Oct 3rd, so thats almost 4 weeks. So now Im not even sure Im going to make this Dec board after all.

Balls. I didn't even go until Oct. 22, which was a date my recruiter was comfy with. I'm going to invest my faith in the "it'll all work out" system and try my hardest to stop reading this damn thread before I take up flipping tables :)

Yeah in my NPQ letter it says I need to provide blood pressure and pulse readings for 3 days and the refraction for 20/20 correction. My recruiter keeps saying that my package will still make to the board. But, I have a feeling its not going to considering the recent changes.

Yea, I take you are going through NRD Denver also?

Correct. However, I guess we're going to be divided up based on application type and region soon. Which would be great if I didn't have to go to Denver and could be somewhere in the Colorado Springs area.

I would be telling you it probably isn't going to make it, the issue is you have to wait for N3M to get the PQ letter back, you might get a quick turn around but it all depends if you have started the 3 days of checks.

The thing is we don't know when BDfan88 had his medical submitted by the NRD processor to N3M, so don't sweat too much yet.

Actually we should be hoping they delayed and were slow, that would mean N3M had a quick turn around, if it was submitted right away then that means N3M took a long time and many people will be SOL.

That is the active list, reserve say "DCO"

Oops, getting to be past my bed time! I didn't scroll down far enough to see that the DCO board wasn't highlighted and thus ought to be safe. Thanks for helping me sleep a little better tonight. :)
