Round and round we go. In the last page of this thread he made the same Germany argument he made earlier in this thread, as though they actually defeated the virus. Now he’s using his anecdotal experience as some kind of scientific fact even though he already got dismantled saying the same thing just a week ago.
The good news is that scaryvirus is almost over. The bad news is taxi1 will be letting us know he had the master plan to defeat it for a long time to come.

Yeah I’ve seen some alarmists trying to spread fear about the different strains. It is frustrating to see numerous headlines about “disappointing” news about the J&J vaccine. There’s this:

Then there’s this, which makes it seem like a home run. Especially factoring in that it’s a single dose and doesn’t have difficult storage requirements to hamper distribution.
If her information is correct, get this thing produced and get us back to normal before summer.

Cases are plummeting. How can we make good news sound scary?
I stopped looking at COVID related news almost immediately, but I do remember the early days when they shamelessly linked stories about deaths of younger adults to their COVID news feed in a clear effort to scare people not in the high risk groups. You either had to actually read the article to figure out that the death was not at all COVID related, or they just outright lied and then had to retract their statements. That is when they lost me. Now it is just amusing to watch them grasp for straws to keep the news story going, while vaccines are being put into arms and even Fauci himself put the end in sight.
The news outlets have no problem broadcasting deaths of named people attributed to COVID - but they willfully leave out other, crucial health related details because of “health privacy.”
News flash: it’s all private health info, even the COVID part. And yes it very likely matters (physiologically) if they have COVID alongside an underlying health condition, such as HIV/AIDS, cancer, parkinsons, diabetes, TB, Hep, syphillis, etc.
