I know there aren't too many people from the Dec. boards left, but has anyone been told they were pushed back again? Originally I was given a tentative date for September back in May; however, I was informed today that I've been pushed back to October. I'm wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation?

Was given an unoffical OCS date of Sept 21. This is good because I am getting married Aug 3. Just enough time to honeymoon and train some. May board pilot no FinSel yet. Will update when it comes. need those orders soon so I can start my crap load of PTO and "quit" my job.,

Alright guys. I just got an email from my recruiter who forwarded me my FINSEL letter. My OCS date is 31 August 2014. I was selected from the Pilot board in March. I hope to see some of you guys in Newport!
Nice, can't have enough math people in this class! Head on over to the 31 Aug class thread to find the link to our Facebook group. I'm hoping to get my FINSEL any day now...

Were you age critical or is this the first sign of the floodgates opening? Here's to the latter!

From what I've learned it's no so much a floodgate, rather a line at the deli during lunch...There is a lot of people on a list they go through in order and one by one distributing FINSEL's. In the class I'm in, more than half of the members on our page received FINSELS's and the rest are waiting. Good luck to you man.

So quick question. I was pro Y for SNA last board and I was wondering something. Once you get Pro Y is there any follow up paperwork or any thing that you may have to do? Because I haven't done anything since I turned in my kit. I check in with my OR and ask but I am his first applicant so we're both kinda figuring things out together.

Your OR should be working with a processor who should assist with those things. But yes, you should have signed some releases that allow a background investigation to take place for your security clearance.

Officially sworn in and out of this purgatory. Thanks to @National OPO, @RUFiO181, @NavyOffRec, @DIVO, @BusyBee604, @Tycho_Brohe and @Mr Spenz who were some big hitters in keeping me well informed and encouraged. Thanks to the others on this forum for busting balls where needed and for all the feedback and help. I will do you all and the Navy proud in Newport and hope to be back to asking questions about PCola soon enough.
