Post cruise had a period where the Skipper was off for about three weeks at something or other. XO was clueless and the JO's we're runing Ops. We would put "FACIT*"down as the mission on the schedule.

F*ck Around and Call It Training" usually meant getting some MOA time or go out and rig some ships or kinda do whatever you wanted with the jet.

Paperwork has acronyms as well.

For example, all new joins are required to fill out their ID-10-T forms.

Also, BA-1100N's should be filled expeditiously, and placed on an ST-Ring.

(Also, if we run out of these forms, grab the keys to the humvee, drive down to admin, and pick up some more, also get 100 yards of flightline while you are there. Be sure to top off the headlight fluid before you go.)

FORD- Fix Or Repair Daily
HONDA- Helping Other Nations Destroy America
BUICK- Big Ugly Indestructible Compact Killer

Ever downward in the death spiral ........

We gave up on that one in "polite" company ... to derogatory and crass the higher-ups determined .... so "LIPs" sufficed. Most people didn't know what we were talking about anyway .... :icon_mi_1
