Its already documented in my medical record. Its nothing serious, just some tendonitis that won't go away since it started last month. I'm fit for full duty. HMC thought it would be a good idea to get some help so its back to 100% by the PFA (NOV 16) since i'm still Fit for Full, and have to run it regardless.

i had the same type of thing. just keep working it out and you should be good. as long as it doesnt kill you i dont think it will effect too much.

If and when you go in for your physical, make sure they know it ISN'T bothering you. (ie, no cringing faces, grunts, or wincing in pain.) The standards for officer are alot different than enlisted. (something that would disqualify you as an officer, wouldn't necessarily disqualify you as enlisted. I've seen a few people kicked out of the academy from my A-school class that are back in the fleet now.

Would someone care to take a look at message traffic? There's a way to search them too. Type "STA-21" in the search box and come back in about 10 minutes.

Negative on the message traffic. Just pulled again and got a big nothing for us. Last one is still the spirit spots for the Navy / Army game.

I would wait until after you pass your fall PFA to get your physical done and make sure you pass with flying colors, then you can use that as proof during your physical that it will not prevent you from doing physical training at NSI.

Sta 21 fy10 result status

just got off the phone with mike from the sta 21 help desk. he said that the results are on the admiral's desk awaiting approval. the results will leave his desk next week and then will be sent to bupers for review. if anyone can disprove this please do... i was not really looking for this answer.

Make sure we're all searching for "Seaman to Admiral" as well... For next week that is. :(

who the eff is this "admiral" and why couldn't he have gotten it signed off already before tee time today? I don't think it should take this long... I've been in the Navy 5 years now and every little bit of inefficiency drives me insane. I'm surprised my head hasn't exploded yet.

I wonder what they would tell the next person who called....

my plans this weekend? Curl up in a little ball and cry.. so much for a celebration beer. (Either way I am celebrating). It just requires news.

I wouldn't get too spun up about this. When I made Chief we had the same kind of info put out to us about results status, and invariably it was more of a guess than hard fact. Didn't the same people tell us the week of the 20th earlier in this thread?

It sucks bc this whole drawn out process really builds up hope for me and I am going to be pissed when I find out I didn't make it... there has to be a better way to do this.

I know its some good advice. Too bad its too late to pretend its not there. So now what, how WILL it affect my physical?

It wont. I got mine done a few months ago and there is nothing physical you have to do. Since it's already in your record there's nothing you can do about it, I don't know if it's disqualifying or not.
