It sucks bc this whole drawn out process really builds up hope for me and I am going to be pissed when I find out I didn't make it... there has to be a better way to do this.
Think positive bud. Think about how you'll feel when you DO make it.

my plans this weekend? Curl up in a little ball and cry.. so much for a celebration beer. (Either way I am celebrating). It just requires news.
we are never going to break 2000 at this rate, we need to step it up a bit
Plus, as you'll see at NSI, Nukes seem to have a much better percentage of getting picked up then any other rate... plus, feel good about the bonuses that you still have that nobody else does... that should make you smile.
who the eff is this "admiral" and why couldn't he have gotten it signed off already before tee time today? I don't think it should take this long... I've been in the Navy 5 years now and every little bit of inefficiency drives me insane. I'm surprised my head hasn't exploded yet.
I wonder what they would tell the next person who called....
You only get those bonuses if you reenlist... I did once and am not going to anymore. They are insane though. I would much rather get a SWO bonus bc I will no longer be a nuke (I didn't go SWO nuke... I want to enjoy the Navy if I'm going to do 20) and I have a better chance at liking my job.
We had a guy in NSI that was straight out of high school, in the Navy a total of 4 months when he put in his package, and got picked up. Only a Nuke can get picked up without a real eval even.
Wow... That's insane. I don't know how they even pick people up out of the Nuke pipeline that haven't even been to sea. You change so much as a person and everything throughout the process. Good for him though.
I like the curl up in a ball thing i might plan to do that! the celebration beer can be for making it this far without breaking.
