At least in the past the only way to be picked up Nuke was to either be a student or staff at either NNPTC or one of the NPTUs.

You never know. Historically they have been posted as late as 2000 EST.

I will have to say I am getting pretty fustrated with the fact that the results are not out yet. I really hope that the whole cutbacks don't lower the numbers they accept this year.

i was just re-iterating what wikidtwidget was saying about checking it at night. and no, it wasn't message traffic, it was AW traffic.

I wasnt trying to work people up. I just remember last year I was about to go to bed and decided to check once more, then started freaking out. Then they were only up here for like 5 minutes before the guy that had control took it down and blocked it because "people should find out from their COs". Personally I would rather know as soon as possible.

^ Two years ago, the results were released late on a Thursday evening, posted here on AW, and then quickly removed. Being a lurker at the time there was no way to PM anyone to see if my name was on the list so I had to wait until morning to call some shipmates on USS last ship for the message.

Half way through the following day, after confirming my selection, I ran into the CO who sincerely asked if there had been any news on the results. Needless to say he was a bit surprised when I informed him that both of us who had applied from the command had been selected.... Might not have known for some time if hadn't been for AW.

That is EXACTLY what happened on my ship. The CO didnt know for a few days.

My CoC never informed me of my alternate selection. I found out late on airwarriors by PMing an individual with the list. I let them know a while after I found out.
