Gouge for photos at NOB
Whoever said it eariler in the thread is right - NOB's photo lab is swamped with picture requests from Os. A couple of points may get you yours in a more timely manner, though:
- Appointments are 15 minutes long. It does not take 15 minutes to take the picture, and the MCs are just sitting around otherwise. Point being, if you have a buddy that has an appointment, tag along and get yours done at the same time. You might even be able to get 3 done on one appointment.
- Appointments run until 11am, then break for lunch and start up again afterwards. If you can find someone with a 10:45 appointment, you can usually bribe the MCs (with some Subway) into letting you get multiple people their photos.
- The actual photo lab is not in the hometown news center building - it's in the next building down the street from it, the one that says "Combat Camera Atlantic" on the side. Go in the entrance to the building that faces the street.
- Bring your thumbdrive. The MCs will take the picture and photoshop in a board with your info, but will not print out the picture. You have to go somewhere and print it out yourself.
At least, that's how it was a month or so ago.
