The Pentagon is now saying it was a suicide attack that was either meant for a US ship or was a dress rehearsal for an attack on a US ship.

That's what they say... I think these guys are happy hitting any gray warship, be it Saudi, Chinese, US, or European. There's no question, the situation out there is much different from the last time I was floating around the Red Sea.

Hoping that all our bros and sisters out there stay vigilant. For a garbage terrorist group, these Houthis are forming a fairly impressive resume, demonstrating at least an intermittent ability to strike OTH using a variety of means.

From the fuzzy photos, guessing it's a Al Riyadh class. A modified French frigate. Surface to air centric. She has a forward gun (5"ish) but I don't think much more point defenses.

The superstructure looks to be too long, too short and not clean enough to be a Lafayette.
