In my utterly non-expert opinion... It looks to me like what I've seen from missiles hitting ships. The last picture looks like there is part of the explosion coming out the other side of the ship.
From the fuzzy photos, guessing it's aAl Riyadh class. A modified French frigate. Surface to air centric. She has a forward gun (5"ish) but I don't think much more point defenses.
