Also, my left eye tested as being nearsighted with 20/100 correctable to 20/20. Guess SNA is out of the question now but I have no problem with SNFO either.

The OR keeps assuring me that it will be a lot easier this time around than the first time I went back in 2003. How was everyone’s experience as an officer candidate?

MEPS sucks no matter when it was.

Are you still a drilling reservist? If so you should avoid MEPS and have the physical done during your drill weekend by medical.

I am hoping mine will be taken care of before the board. I go to the doctor today for the pap test and the doctors are going to try to get the results within a week.
I am glad to hear that it can be taken care of after the board as well. My OR seemed a bit concerned when I told him that it can take up 2 weeks for results.

He must not deal with many female applicants, 2 weeks is standard for that test.

I’m a current drilling Air Guard member. If I knew that I would have had it done months ago. Unfortunately our next drill is not until August. L

From what my recruiter told me, the boards will open in July. She gave me no specific date, however, told me that I would most likely not know if I am selected until August sometime. How positive are people on this July 15 and possible 90% selection? Everyone tells me I shouldn't worry too much so I have been focusing on the physical part.

I could not even imagine going through all this just to decline an FS for SNA/SNFO...decide you don't want it before you send a package.
