That would be a tough one to retake with that "7", I hope they utilize the OAR a little bit lol.
Trust me, it was a tough decision especially with that 7 locked in on the PFAR. Glad that one is over with.

Does anyone else find it interesting that all of the ASTB scores are calculated from the same test, but have seemingly differing correlations? lol....Like RiseR...your scores on the first shot were better than mine but i still managed to squeek out a 50 OAR ...5/6/6 50...just an observation...either way I wont be taking that again lol, ill just be a Suppo...![]()

Thats true...Ive also seen some people with scores like your but a very low OAR...like 48 or 49...its odd sometimes...also there was someone in the March rolling board thread with a score like 5/6/7 60...just weird...Look at my scores 776 but a 61
Im not sure about the board asking for further medical evaluations, perhaps NavOffRec has some better gouge on that. However my first run at meps back in 2003...yea im getting old....I had high blood pressure readings in the morning... No history of high blood pressure, and had good readings at a civilian doctor...it took 3 tries at meps and by that time they knew me by name and helped me out by putting me in a dark quiet room until I got good readings...anyways, point of the story is just do what they want, play their game, and in the end you'll be good to go.So I just got a call from my OR and he told me that I need to go get an EKG because of my heart rate while I was at MEPS. I was so nervous when I was at MEPS so my heart rate was at 106 (I know ridiculous lol) but when I went to the doctor last week my heart rate was at 69 so I know I will pass an EKG. However, my OR told me he thinks the board has already met and he heard from them to tell me to go get an EKG? I didn't think the board wrote to people about medical issues???
LOL, no high horse here...you guys nailed it, and I'm just saying I'll humbly settle for supply before tackling that again lolLOL get off your high horse JK

Well that makes sense I suppose. Although being prior Naval Aviation...I probably should have done better...lolI wouldn't retake either tbh. I have a pretty high OAR that I am happy with. I don't think any of the subtests contribute to the aviation scores. Makes sense you dominate the OAR portion but then don't perform as hot on the aviation and naval history portions.
What would you consider to be low PFAR scores??In the right circumstance it can help, but generally not, by percentage I had more people with PPL not selected than those without PPL not selected, the common factor, those who didn't get selected had low PFAR scores
Im working on the X-47 competitors Landing gear design of the UCAS (Boeing), this is the wave of the future! neat stuff!News update, probably already a thread on this. X-47 UCAS makes first arrested carrier landing today.

I am going tomorrow to get the EKG and I have to pay out of pocket since Tricare says I do not medically need oneIm not sure about the board asking for further medical evaluations, perhaps NavOffRec has some better gouge on that.
